PRE-ARRIVAL DEPOSITS: The following hotels have confirmed that they will charge or authorize the credit card or debit card on file in each reservation for one night's room and tax on or after the dates below. Actual deposits will be applied towards your room charges. If your card declines and FanimeCon Housing cannot reach you for another method of payment within 24-hours, your reservation will be cancelled.

PAYMENT & DEPOSIT AT CHECK-IN: At check-in, your hotel will require full payment of your room and tax for all nights plus an additional deposit of $50.00 to $100.00 per room/per night. Hotels will accept all major credit/debit cards. Most hotels accept cash and checks but you should check with your confirmed hotel directly prior to arrival if you will be paying by cash or check to confirm they will accept it. Hotels reserve the right to determine which forms of payment they will accept, including cash.
DEBIT CARD POLICY: If you choose to use a debit card for the payment of your room, the Hotel will take an authorization for the amount of room and tax for your entire stay plus the applicable deposit of $50.00 to $100.00 per room/per night. These funds will be temporarily unavailable in your checking account. FanimeCon Housing recommends the use of cash (as permitted) or a credit card if you wish to have access to all of the funds in your checking account through the weekend.
CANCELLATION DEADLINE: The last day to cancel your hotel reservation without penalty is Friday, April 29, 2022. After this date, a cancellation penalty of one night's room and tax may be charged.
LAST DAY TO MAKE, CHANGE, OR CANCEL A RESERVATION THROUGH FANIMECON HOUSING: Monday, May 16, 2022.

All reservations made online require a credit or debit card to guarantee the reservation.
Beware of Unauthorized Agencies!
CMR (Convention Management Resources) is the official housing service provider of FanimeCon 2022. No other housing service provider or travel agency is authorized to make reservations on behalf of Fanime or its event participants. Fanime and CMR have entered into agreements with the San Jose hotels that guarantee room rates and accommodations over the event dates. Reserving hotel rooms through any other agency may result in financial losses and should be done with caution. Illicit hotel reservation companies impose costly change and cancellation fees, retain deposit funds, and may confirm fictitious reservations leaving meeting participants with no accommodations. Should you be contacted by any company other than CMR, please send us a message through the FanimeCon Registration & Housing Support Center.
