Joining the Waitlist

What if my preferred dates are not available when I arrive on the website for the first time?

While hotels are still available for the meeting dates of June 17 – 20, 2020, you must have a confirmed reservation to be placed on the waitlist to add nights or request a different hotel.

  1. The availability shown at each hotel is based on the arrival and departure dates of June 17 and June 20, 2020. To determine if a hotel has availability for a longer or shorter length of stay, simply change the default dates at the top of the page. The availability shown at each hotel will update accordingly.
  2. If you find that your preferred hotel does not have all of your required dates available, you have 2 options:
    • a) Confirm a reservation at your preferred hotel for the nights that are available, then in a separate step, add your reservation to the waitlist for the additional nights.
    • b) Reserve a different hotel that has availability for all nights that you require, then in a separate step, add your reservation to the waitlist, requesting a change to up to 3 different hotels.
  3. Once your reservation has been confirmed for nights that are available, select Change Reservation on the reservation detail page.
  4. You will be taken back to the hotel list. Select your preferred arrival and departure dates. Next to your hotel name, the Continue button will change to Waitlist.
  5. Select Waitlist, then confirm your preferred dates and hotel option(s) (if you would like to request a different hotel). Submit to complete your request.
  6. You will receive an email to confirm your waitlist request. NATA Housing will contact the hotel on your behalf to try to secure your additional requested nights. If and when these are added, you will receive an updated confirmation email.

What if I’ve already booked my reservation and want to go back and add nights that are not available?

  1. After you have booked your hotel reservation and you wish to add nights that are not available at your preferred hotel, simply log in to your reservation by entering your confirmation number, email address and zip code.
  2. Select Change Reservation on the reservation detail page.
  3. You will be taken back to the hotel list. Select your preferred arrival and departure dates. Next to your hotel name, the Continue button will change to Waitlist.
  4. Select Waitlist, then confirm your preferred dates and hotel option(s) (if you would like to request a different hotel). Submit to complete your request.
  5. You will receive an email to confirm your waitlist request. NATA Housing will contact the hotel on your behalf to try to secure your additional requested nights. If and when these are added, you will receive an updated confirmation email.
