Tipping Guidelines
  • Hotel Personnel/Porterage: $1.00-$2.00 per parcel or bag of luggage.
  • Restaurants: 15% of the total bill is a good rule of thumb for tipping.
  • Hotel Valet: $2.00-$3.00 to attendant.
  • Housekeeping Services: $2.00-$3.00 per day.
  • Concierge Services: $2-5 depending on services.
  • Taxi: 15% of total.
  • Super Shuttle Super Shuttle makes many stops and leaves every 15 minutes from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. It is an economical way of getting to the metro area of Phoenix, however, depending on how big group is may take longer than taxi.
  • Taxis Taxis provide direct drop-off to your desired location and have pick-up areas at Terminal's 2-4.
  • Car Rental is available at the airport which can be accessed by using the airport shuttle which runs approximately every 5-10 minutes.
  • The 44th Street PHX Sky Train® Station is a direct connection to Valley Metro Rail, which offers access into Phoenix, Tempe, and Mesa. There are several options for wheelchair-accessible public transportation to and from Phoenix Sky Harbor International. Use Valley Metro's online trip planner for additional routes and destinations.
