Federal Government Per Diem Housing Information
- Wednesday, September 14, 2022 – Last day to make a reservation in the dedicated Government room block.
- Wednesday, September 28, 2022 – Last day to change/cancel reservations through WEFTEC Housing.
- Friday, September 30, 2022 – Reservation changes/cancels can be made directly with the hotels.
- 72-hours prior to arrival – Deadline to cancel reservations to avoid a penalty of one night’s room and tax.
The GSA per diem for New Orleans FY2022 is $136.00 per night through September 30, 2022. The FY2023 rate will be announced September 1, 2022 and goes into effect October 1, 2022. An announcement about the FY2023 rate will be sent in September, along with an updated confirmation reflecting the rate change to your reservation.
The government per diem rate is intended for United States Federal Government employees and military personnel. A valid Federal Government or Military ID must be presented upon check-in. Please contact your hotel to verify their specific policies. If the hotel does not extend the per diem rate to your branch of government, your room will be charged at the WEFTEC group rate.
Alert! Convention Management Resources (CMR) is the official hotel management company for WEFTEC. No other hotel management company or travel agency is authorized to place reservations on behalf of the Water Environment Federation. Other agencies have not entered into agreements with the New Orleans hotels and are not able to guarantee rates and accommodations during the dates of the conference.
