AUSA Government Per Diem Rate Room Information

A limited number of government per diem rate rooms are available exclusively to active duty military service members, federal government employees, and FFRDC entity employees.

AUSA’s Government Per Diem rate sleeping rooms are available only to uniformed Military Personnel and DOD Civilians. You will be asked to show a valid ID when you check into the hotel.  AUSA will audit reservations; you will be contacted if you are not eligible.  If you do not have a valid active duty/DOD government ID at check-in, you will be charged the prevailing rate at the time of check-in. Unfortunately, due to AUSA’s limited number of sleeping rooms at this rate, Retired Military and Government Contractors are not eligible for this rate.

If you do not qualify for a government per diem rate room, make your reservation through the Attendee & Exhibitor Hotel Reservation website.

Important Information

• AUSA Housing reserves the right to change or cancel per diem rate reservations made by ineligible individuals.
• The government per diem rate is subject to change prior to the meeting. The GSA releases the new per diem rates sometime in August. 
• Valid active duty military, federal government employee, or FFRDC ID is required at check-in. Failure to present qualifying ID will result in an increase in rate.

Important Dates & Deadlines

Fri, Aug 1, 2025	Rooming lists/unique names are due to AUSA Housing.
Fri, Aug 22, 2025	Last day to cancel a reservation in a room block to avoid a penalty of one night’s room plus tax per room.
Dates Vary by Hotel Refer to each reservation's email confirmation	Last day to cancel an individual (non-group) reservation to avoid a penalty of one night’s room plus tax per room.
Thu, Sept 25, 2025	Last day to add, change, or cancel a reservation through AUSA Housing at the Marriott Marquis, Westin Washington DC Downtown, and YOTEL Washington DC.
Mon, Sept 29, 2025	Contact the Marriott Marquis, Westin Washington DC Downtown, and YOTEL Washington DC directly to change or cancel reservations.
Tue, Sept 30, 2025	Last day to add, change, or cancel a reservation through AUSA Housing at all other hotels.
Fri, Oct 3, 2025	Contact all other hotels directly to change or cancel reservations.

Alert! Convention Management Resources (CMR) is the official hotel management company for the AUSA 2025 Annual Meeting and Exposition. No other hotel management company or travel agency is authorized to place reservations on behalf of The Association of the United States Army. These companies have not entered into agreements with Washington, DC hotels and are not able to guarantee rates and accommodations during the dates of the conference.
