Attrition/Cancellation Policies:

Groups reserving housing blocks of 10 rooms or more are subject to the group housing attrition policy and expected to utilize 80% or more of their total block as of the group cancellation deadline (August 22, 2025). Should the actual rooms/suites utilized be less than 80% of the total room/suite block, the Group agrees to pay AUSA for the number of sleeping rooms/suites not utilized up to 80% of the total room/suite block reserved. Following receipt of the actual pick-up numbers from the hotel(s), the Group will be billed for the difference between the actual hotel’s pick-up numbers up to 80% of the total room/suite block. These monies are due within thirty (30) days of receipt of the invoice.

Example: The company requested 100 room nights on the group housing request date. By the group cancellation deadline, the reserved block was reduced to 80 room nights. After the event, the hotels reported that 60 room nights had been picked up.

This group is in attrition because their final pick-up is 75%.

Room Blocks of 10+ Rooms
Reservations in room blocks must be canceled no later than August 22 to avoid possible attrition penalties owed to AUSA and/or a penalty of one night’s room plus tax, per room.

Individual (Non-Group) Reservations
