Important Housing Information for Attendees
PRE-ARRIVAL DEPOSITS: The hotels listed below have informed us that they plan to charge a deposit of one night's room and tax on or after the dates listed. Note: All hotels reserve the right to charge a deposit prior to arrival, so the list below is not necessarily inclusive. Deposits will be applied toward your room charges. If your card declines and FanimeCon Housing cannot reach you for another method of payment within 24 hours, your reservation will be cancelled.

PAYMENT & DEPOSIT AT CHECK-IN: Full payment for the total cost of your stay plus a deposit of $50 to $100 for each night of your stay is required. Hotels accept all major payment cards. Not all accept cash! If you'd like to pay with cash, contact your hotel to make certain they will accept it. Hotels reserve the right to determine which forms of payment they will accept, including cash.
USING A DEBIT CARD? Hotels place a hold on the total cost of your stay plus the applicable deposit of $50 to $100 for each night of your stay. These funds will be temporarily unavailable in your checking account - often until after the event.
CANCELLATION DEADLINE: The last day to cancel your hotel reservation without penalty is Friday, April 26, 2024. After this date, a cancellation penalty of one night's room and tax may be charged.
LAST DAY TO MAKE, CHANGE, OR CANCEL A RESERVATION THROUGH FANIMECON HOUSING: Monday, May 13, 2024.
CONTACT YOUR HOTEL DIRECTLY BEGINNING: Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
EARLY DEPARTURE FEE: Confirm your departure date upon arrival. After check-in, shortening the length of your stay may result in a fee.
Beware of Unauthorized Agencies!
CMR (Convention Management Resources) is the official housing service provider of FanimeCon 2024. No other housing service provider or travel agency is authorized to make reservations on behalf of Fanime or its event participants. Fanime and CMR have entered into agreements with the San Jose hotels that guarantee room rates and accommodations over the event dates. Reserving hotel rooms through any other agency may result in financial losses and should be done with caution. Illicit hotel reservation companies impose costly change and cancellation fees, retain deposit funds, and may confirm fictitious reservations leaving meeting participants with no accommodations. Should you be contacted by any company other than CMR, please send us a message through the FanimeCon Registration & Housing Support Center.
