Important Credit Card Information:

Deposit Policy:
A credit card number is required for guarantee of all reservations at the time of booking. The credit card provided will not be charged by NSBA Housing/CMR.

Your confirmed hotel has the right to charge the card for one night's room and tax per reservation after March 15, 2024. An optional check for one night’s room & tax made payable to CMR can be submitted at a later date; CMR will advise you of the deposit amount. The deadline for CMR to receive the check is March 8, 2024. Checks received after that date will be returned.

All attendees will need to provide credit cards upon arrival to pay for any unpaid nights and incidental charges. If an attendee is not paying their own charges, then another credit card holder needs to provide written authorization directly to the hotel. The credit card number provided in the reservations cannot be charged by the hotels for anything other than advance deposits of one night’s room & tax, or late cancellation and no-show penalties.

Incidental Expenses:
Individual guests are required to present a physical credit or debit card upon check-in for incidental expenses, even if room & tax were prepaid or are being paid by another party. Most hotels will place an authorization hold totaling $50.00 to $100.00 per room, per night in anticipation of incidental expenses. Actual incidental expenses incurred during the stay will be billed to the card at check-out, and the remaining authorization hold will be released. It may take between one to eight days after check-out for the hold to disappear from the card statement.

Hotels will accept all major credit/debit cards. Most hotels accept cash and checks, but you should check with your confirmed hotel directly prior to arrival to verify its exact policy. Hotels reserve the right to determine which forms of payment they will accept.

Be Aware of Unauthorized Agencies!
CMR (Convention Management Resources) is the official hotel management company for NSBA's Annual Conference. No other hotel management company or travel agency is authorized to place reservations on behalf of NSBA. These companies have not entered into agreements with the New Orleans hotels and are not able to guarantee rates and accommodations during the dates of the conference. Should you be contacted by any other agency other than CMR, send us a message through the NSBA Hotel Support Center.
