Federal Government Per Diem Housing Information
- Wednesday, September 20, 2023 – Last day to make a reservation in the dedicated Government room block.
- Wednesday, September 20, 2023 – Last day to change/cancel reservations through WEFTEC Housing.
- Friday, September 22, 2023 – Reservation changes/cancels can be made directly with the hotels.
- 72-hours prior to arrival – Deadline to cancel reservations to avoid a penalty of one night’s room and tax.
The GSA per diem for Chicago FY2023 is $218.00 per night through September 30, 2023. The FY2024 rate is $233.00 and applies to all nights beginning October 1, 2023.
The government per diem rate is intended for United States Federal Government employees and military personnel. A valid Federal Government or Military ID must be presented upon check-in. If you are with any other governmental jurisdiction, please contact your hotel to verify their specific policies. If the hotel does not extend the per diem rate to your governmental jurisdiction, your room will be charged at the WEFTEC group rate.
Alert! Convention Management Resources (CMR) is the official hotel management company for WEFTEC. No other hotel management company or travel agency is authorized to place reservations on behalf of the Water Environment Federation. Other agencies have not entered into agreements with the Chicago hotels and are not able to guarantee rates and accommodations during the dates of the conference.
